Will It Snow for Christmas?

Synopsis

Cha Kang-jin, the son of a struggling tavern-maid, grows up hardened by a life of ridicule and survival. Determined to never be looked down upon, he hides his pain behind ambition and strength, striving to be the best in everything he does. But his tightly guarded heart softens when he meets Han Ji-wan, the lively daughter of a respected local doctor. Ji-Wan, with her bright spirit and fiery sense of justice, becomes the only person who sees Kang-Jin for who he truly is.

Their bond deepens, but tragedy strikes when Ji-Wan’s older brother, her family’s pride and hope, dies in an accident while trying to retrieve Kang-Jin’s lost pendant. Overwhelmed by guilt and grief, Ji-wan flees her hometown, bidding farewell to her happiest days and to Kang-Jin.

Years later, fate brings them together again. Kang-Jin is now a successful architect, while Ji-Wan has grown into a spirited yet trouble-prone medical student. And the old wounds resurface as they navigate the unresolved feelings and truths buried deep within their hearts. Burdened by the shadow of their parents’ shared past as each other’s first love, which became the root of heartbreak for their families, the two struggle to break free from the chains of their painful pasts tested by family betrayals and personal sacrifices. To complicate matters even more, the two soon find themselves entangled in a web of heartbreaking love square with another pair of star-crossed lovers.
