Synopsis

One day, Jae Gyeong, an ace narcotics detective, wakes up finding himself to have become addicted to a newly spreading drug, lemon mulberry. Then he soon discovers his once best friend Jun Seo has committed suicide with life benefit in the amount of $3.7 Million left to him and their mutual friend Yoon Jin. However, they must prove it wasn’t a suicide to fully claim the benefit. With rest of their high school friends suspiciously raging against them pinpointing them to have murdered Jun Seo for the money, the two must prove their innocence at all cost.

With question marks congesting over their head, Jae Gyeong and Yoon Jin come to senses that Jun Seo has left the money as a bait to expose the truth behind his death and how it may be connected to this one big web of crime involving their high school friends. Now, with not much time left before the case closes, the two must trace Jun Seo’s death uncovering the story of their 20-year-old altered friendship and their decaying connection that has been the seed of it all. Most importantly, Jae Gyeong must hide his addiction from others in order to keep himself in the investigation. Would the two be able to chase down the head of the connection putting an end to the decaying friendship they all have been suffering for the last 20 years unraveling the deadly web of secrets and save themselves before time’s up? Would Jae Gyeong be able to come clean from the drug and save his career after all?
