Synopsis

Hae-Kang, a brilliant but emotionally distant lawyer, once had what seemed to be a perfect life, but everything began to crumble after the tragic loss of her daughter. Her husband, Jin-Eon, heir to a powerful pharmaceutical company, becomes estranged, unable to forgive her for the past. Lost in his grief and bitterness, he turns to the young and vibrant Seol-Ri, seeking solace in an affair. As Jin-Eon cruelly demands a divorce, Hae-Kang, shattered but composed, agrees to end their marriage, signing away her past in a deal with her father-in-law.

At the same time, Yong-Ki, Hae-Kang’s long-lost twin sister separated from her at birth, is fighting for survival while uncovering the dangerous truth behind her husband’s mysterious death. In a twist of fate, their worlds collide when Hae-Kang is mistaken for Yong-Ki and becomes the target of a murder attempt. After a near-fatal car accident, Hae-Kang loses her memory and is taken in by Baek Seok, a warm-hearted lawyer who believes she is his long-lost first love, Yong-Ki. In Baek Seok’s care, Hae-Kang experiences a life of warmth and happiness but is weighed down by a persistent emptiness, sensing she isn’t truly the person everyone believes her to be.

As time passes, fate brings Hae-Kang and Jin-Eon back together, rekindling a dangerous and forbidden affair. With fragments of her memories slowly resurfacing, Hae-Kang is forced to confront not only the painful truth of her past but also the hidden family secrets surrounding her and Yong-Ki’s separation, leading her to an emotional reckoning that could change everything.
