Synopsis

When a woman’s body is discovered on a highway, four of Korea’s most powerful elites.. wealthy, connected, untouchable, fall under suspicion. The nation watches as Choi Ja-hye, a former judge turned star attorney and host of a hit courtroom TV show whom has a past as shadowy as her defendants’, steps in to the case. Her client? The prime suspect, one of the four elites, Kang In-ho: a chaebol heir, seemingly perfect husband, and the victim’s ex-lover. When In-Ho's wife Geum Na-Ra, who is also Ja-Hye's law school peer, pleads for help, Ja-Hye agrees but with one condition: they take on the case together.

Partnered with a volatile detective still outrunning his own past, Dokgo Young, Ja-Hye begins to peel back the polished surface of the four elites, and what she finds is far more rotten than anyone can imagine.. affairs, cover-ups, and a brotherhood forged in silence.
