Synopsis

Three individuals who sacrificed everything for their spouse and family are torn down as they are suddenly struck by cruel betrayal from their spouses. Bok-Soo, a devoted housewife, is blindsided when her husband rekindles an affair with his first love, Na-Mi, rendering her sacrifices meaningless. Hwa-Shin, Bok-Soo’s best friend and sister-in-law, faces a similar blow when her husband leaves her for an older, married woman, leaving her determined to reclaim her dignity. Meanwhile, Gil Eok, a hardworking ‘goose dad,’ discovers that his wife, Na-Mi, has been cheating on him upon her return when all he has been doing all along is to support her and their son for the best.. even at the risk of losing his own life.

In the wake of their heartbreak, Bok-Soo and Hwa-Shin form the First Wives’ Club, a pact to seek revenge, reclaim their lives, and challenge societal injustices. As they pursue vengeance, unexpected new emotions surface. Hwa-Shin encounters a young Prince Charming, while Bok-Soo and Gil Eok's shared suffering blossoms into an unexpected connection. But as their plans unfold, they face unexpected obstacles and they are torn between keeping their family together or abandoning their unfaithful spouse.
